Do you guys have any idea if a Mac tablet is coming soon?

Honestly, no one knows except for a few people in Cupertino and they're not talking.

Seriously, anyone who tells you definitively that Apple is or is not releasing a tablet is either lying or delusional. There are all sorts of "tea leaves" out there, but no one will know anything for sure until either Apple officially releases it or enough time goes by that people see that it won't happen.

And this is why watching Apple has become such great sport. Especially in the financial markets where Apple stock has risen based purely on rumor. Hey, it even went up almost $10 just on the announcement that Apple had rented space in SF for Jan 26.

It seems the talk about a tablet is becoming louder and more definite than just a few days ago. Here's a piece from WSJ dated January 4.
