I am in a mixed environment (PC's and Mac)
We have a Purchase Order book that sits on my desk that lists PO #'rs and all of the info about that PO.
When someone wants a PO, they ask me for the next number...
You can see the obvious disadvantage to me using this system...:-)

I want to find a way to make this available "online"
I would prefer it be web-page like, but if it has to be an excel file or something, that would be OK too.
How could I set this up so that anyone can access it and add information to it in real time?
Would it be possible to set it up so that people type in their information, submit and the next number is generated? (Database style?)

Anybody have any experience in this arena?

Bob,

In my environment, we'd probably build a simple Access database with an "autonumber" field to autogenerate the PO. However, as you're aware, that doesn't help you as a Mac user.

Your best hope is to contact Chris. I'm sure there's some simple web scripting that will do what you want.
